Summer Camps for 2021
Our famous Gaming camps are an opportunity for kids who are SERIOUS about Minecraft. Because of COVID-19 we are not offering the one on one coding lessons for now. These camps are specifically designed for 1st-8th graders.
We are very exited about all the new themes that we added for this summer:
Hola Amigos (Spanish camp)
This could be the perfect introduction to the Spanish language! This camp brings together campers from different backgrounds with the same goal: learning a second or third language. Hola Amigos is a one week camp at The Scholar Ship designed for kids from 5 to 12 years old and a fun way to explore the language and the culture through games, food, art, and music.
Starting this fall we will offer continuous learning with the Hola Amigos programs which you can sign up for year-round to ensure that your child is continuing their language learning adventure!
Private Spanish lessons will also be available.
Our Planet (science camp)
This camp is designed to help kids appreciate our beautiful planet and learn about climate change and how it is already affecting our lives. Why is that happening? What can we do to help? Kids will be learning about global warming, drought, wildfires, animal extinction, CO2 (Carbon Dioxide), etc. We will also be kind to the earth and use recycled materials to create fun art projects (using cereal boxes, paper towel rolls, corks, egg cartons, jar lids, and more).
Astronauts (science camp) and
Kids will dive into the galaxy to learn about rockets, planets, comets, constellations, asteroids and much more. They will also do some experiments and use their creativity on a small Minecraft project.
It's Craft O'clock (arts and crafts camp)
Young art lovers will have a lot of fun with patterns, textures and colors beyond imagination. Perfect for kids from 5 to 12 years old.
